All production companies must contact the Department of Labor and Industries
when hiring any minors for any type of project. The link to the theatrical child labor site is here.
A Master Business License with a minor work permit endorsement is required when
a person or company is hiring minors. A UBI Number is the "Unified
Business Identifier Number" and is the same as a Tax Identification Number
or a Washington State Business Number.
*When registering to do business in the State of Washington you may be subject to Business and Occupation Tax. Consult the Department of Revenue or
your payroll services company for details.
