Abby Hagan (she/her)

Abby Hagan is an editor by trade, as well as a director, DP, and all-around storyteller. Her comedy documentary “Punderneath It All” (2023) is her feature film directorial debut; the film had its World Premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival and went on to screen at several festivals across the US. She has directed, shot, and edited 6 short documentaries covering a wide range of subject matter. Currently she works as a senior editor on the outdoor edu-tainment YouTube series “Miranda Goes Outside.” She is the recipient of grants from 4Culture, Artist Trust, and the University of Houston for documentary film, and has served on the boards of the Seattle Documentary Association and Allied Arts Foundation. Abby loves to travel, hike, crochet, and spend time with her husband Jimmie and her toddler, Jayne.
