As co-founder of DocuMentality, Malikkah Rollins, LCSW-C, champions mental health awareness across the global documentary industry. Her extensive hands-on experience exploring mental health and well-being in the documentary film ecosystem has given her unique insight into filmmakers’ complex challenges while amplifying vital stories. With a decade of practice as a psychotherapist, she specialized in supporting young adults through mental health struggles. In addition to her advocacy, Malikkah serves as the Director of Industry and Education at DOC NYC, the largest documentary film festival in the U.S., and sits on the board of WIFV in Washington, D.C. Previously, she spent six years as an independent documentary producer. When not immersed in film, Malikkah is busy planning her next international adventure.
