Three Washington State documentary filmmakers have been selected for the Above the Line Mentorship. Recent graduates of the Education Forum, these filmmakers will embark on a six month mentorship, working with both in-state and out-of-state film professionals aimed at moving their projects into production.
“It is so important to our entire state film ecosystem that we are investing in filmmakers who are going to make their films here and make their careers here,” said past program mentor Lacey Leavitt Gray. “We need tomorrow’s filmmakers, and we need to start working with them today,” said past program mentor Dan Merchant.
