With streamlined crews, flexible equipment setups, and shorter schedules, these productions are gaining momentum on platforms like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Join us as we explore this burgeoning production model and what it means to our Washington based creators with guest speaker Josie Andrews.
Josie Andrews is a director, producer, and writer whose narrative shorts have swept the globe with wins and nominations including Oscar/BAFTA qualifying Nashville, SCAD, SF Jewish, Newport, Dances with Films, LA Shorts, Santa Fe, Soho and many more. She’s directed more than 10 vertical microdramas, with some hit titles earning over half a billion views worldwide.
