Volunteer Opportunity: Be a Screener for the Seattle Black Film Festival

The Seattle Black Film Festival is looking for screeners! Screeners will help shape SBFF 2026 and contribute to the legacy of Seattle Black Film Festival. If you’re enthusiastic about films made by and for Black people and are interested in providing critiques and feedback on next year’s festival, you are encouraged to apply.
Applications are due Friday, October 10, at 11:59pm. Screeners watch submitted and curated films + provide feedback and critique on films when asked. They’ll receive an all-access pass to SBFF 2026 upon completing their duties.
Time commitment: Up to 25 total hours of watch and meeting time between October and December 2025.
