Washington Filmworks is pleased to announce the Board of Directors has approved Monsters of Rock, another locally-produced feature scheduled to film this fall in the greater Spokane area. This is the 7th project approved for funding assistance this year under the new Local Lens umbrella!
Washington Filmworks is still considering fully-funded projects on an ongoing basis, and will keep the application window open until the 2019 fund is exhausted. Monsters of Rock
A rogue band of teenage misfits buck the odds and do whatever it takes to bring Sammy Hagar and Van Halen’s MoR concert to Spokane. The feature-length movie, written by Josh Nicholson and produced by Nicholson and Dan Merchant, will be filmed on location in Spokane and employ over 200 local cast and crew.
