JOIN US IN OLYMPIA
Wednesday, May 27 from 10am – 3pm
Senator Andy Hill (R, 45) has publicly suggested that the House and Senate could successfully negotiate the final budget over the next week. Next Wednesday MAY be our last opportunity to lobby legislators to include SB 6027 in the final budget before the special session ends next Thursday.
That day, we will schedule meetings with members, pull elected officials from the House and Senate floors, and stop by legislative offices. Having a large film industry presence in Olympia that day will send a powerful message, so please join us!
If you can attend, RSVP to RSVP@WashingtonFilmworks.org. When you RSVP, include your name, legislative district and cell phone number.
We also encourage ALL film industry professionals to write their Senator and two Representatives AGAIN. In writing, tell your personal story and use some of the talking points from the Keep Film in WA Fact Sheet. And most importantly — ask that SB 6027 be included in the final budget.
Thank you for your continued support – and let’s work together to KEEP FILM IN WA!
