City of Bremerton

Platted in 1891 and incorporated in 1901, Bremerton is a picturesque waterfront community located on one of the finest protected harbors on Puget Sound.  Bremerton is a thriving city of approximately 40,500+ people and continues to reinvent itself.  Bremerton is on the move, with approximately 2,000 new housing units and a grocery store scheduled to be built in Bremerton’s downtown core within the next two years.  A new “fast” passenger-only ferry service from Bremerton to Seattle began July 10, 2017, and 3400 acres of available industrial property, ripe for development, surrounds the Bremerton National Airport.  Bremerton also has within its corporate limits, one of the best equipped Naval Shipyards in United States where Navy ships come and go throughout the year for repairs and overhauls.
