The City of Puyallup

You can find Puyallup in the beautiful Puget Sound region of Washington State, situated in the heart of a valley with majestic Mount Rainier as its backdrop. Since its earliest days, Puyallup has been associated with alluvial soil optimal for agriculture, and the Washington State Fair. Named after the Puyallup Tribe of Native Americans, Puyallup means “the generous people.” The city has a walkable and historic downtown, a river with seasonal salmon runs, and a growing commercial area on south hill. You can also experience the outdoor art sculpture gallery in downtown that contains almost 50 pieces of permanent, public-owned art as well as several other rotating pieces.
