WF reached out to Beth Barrett, SIFF’s Director of Programming, to find out more about opportunities to see Northwest films and connect with local filmmakers at the festival. She also gave us some tips on how filmmakers can make the best of their festival experience.
Strange and wonderful activity is afoot in the Puget Sound area thanks to the short film The Maury Island Incident. For the second year in a row Burien, Washington will host the Burien UFO Festival (aka BUFO) on April Fools Day. This festival is inspired by the film.
