Dae Shik Kim, Head of Studio
Dae Shik Kim is the Head of Noisy Creek’s new digital media company and is an accomplished media professional and award-winning journalist, renowned for his dynamic contributions to digital media and journalism. Born and raised in Honolulu, HI, he studied Journalism at the University of Hawaii. As the Director of Development at Cut.com, he helped lead the platform to reach 10 million subscribers. He later joined VICE to re-strategize their digital media channels and has also run media strategies for the Bernie Sanders campaign. His award-winning articles have been featured in prestigious publications such as The Atlantic and The Nation. As the son of Black and South Korean immigrants who have run a successful small business in Hawaii for over four decades, Dae Shik’s diverse background influences his dedication to authentic and compelling storytelling.
