South Korean-born director and cinematographer Joon Chang has been hooked on visual storytelling. He was struck by the power of cinema and developed an appreciation of how film is a universal language that transcends borders. This inspired him to pick up a camera and create his first award-winning short film, “Meeting Miss Fortune” in 2008. Joon continued to createa number of award winning short films, with one of his favorite projects being ”The Killer Diller,” featured at the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) in 2013. His current documentary project, I’m A No Count, delves into the life of a garage rock pioneer in his twilight years, reminiscing about his colorful past in the ’60s as he struggles with declining health and a burning desire to perform one last show.
