Lulu Gargiulo, award-winning cinematographer and filmmaker, has shot countless narratives, commercials, music videos and documentaries, including the award-winning doc The Most Dangerous Year as well as several short films, including, Her Mad Hatter, Well Actually and Insure Domestic Tranquility and full-length feature, Year of My Japanese Cousin.
In addition to shooting, Lulu also produced the feature length documentary 47 Views of Leslie Laskey, which aired on the KCTS/PBS series Reel NW, several short docs for the Seattle Channels-Art Zone and the documentary, Howdy Pardner-Tales of the Cowboy Hat, for which she received a Women in Film ‘Get ‘er Done’ grant and two 4Culture Arts awards.
When not making films, Lulu plays guitar as a member of Seattle punk band, the Fastbacks.
