Peggy Case is an award-winning producer and director of dramas and documentaries. Her Seattle-based production company is Mad as Birds LLC. Case’s producing credits include: Lynn Shelton’s feature debut WE GO WAY BACK, David Russo’s dark, stylish comedy THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF LITTLE DIZZLE and Robinson Devor’s provocative documentary ZOO, an official selection for the Sundance Documentary Competition and the Cannes Directors Fortnight. Her directorial credits include a number of PBS productions – the feature documentary PERFECT ILLUSIONS, the award-winning series INSIDE THE BOX, and six short documentaries awarded the Silver Promax and Cine Golden Eagle. Peggy is a Film Independent Fellow. She recently produced the multiple award-winning SWEETHEART DEAL, directed by Elisa Levine & Gabriel Miller, produced segments for MRB Productions’ HERO DOG AWARDS, and served as executive producer on BABY DOE, a feature documentary directed by Jessica Earnshaw (2025 SXSW premiere). Peggy has also produced various corporate and commercial projects for Microsoft, Alaska Airlines, California Milk Board, PayPal, Cozi, Brooks Running and Zero Waste Washington, among others. Currently Peggy is working on Earnshaw’s new documentary feature.
