For six years, Richelle volunteered for and worked as a grassroots organizer for nonprofits in New Mexico and Texas. Richelle mobilized her community around LGBTQ equality, voting rights, reproductive rights, and sexual assault awareness and prevention. She helped lead lobby days during legislative sessions and get out the vote campaigns during election seasons. Richelle is also a freelance illustrator whose work includes ADDY award-winning illustration designs for King County Metro. Since moving to Seattle in 2017, Richelle has volunteered with the Seattle International Film Festival and written and directed a few short films. Richelle graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Gender Studies and Government.
