Stacy Barnes is a Seattle-based filmmaker, nonprofit leader, and advocate who seeks to empower youth through the art of storytelling. As the Founder and Executive Director of the Camera Kids Foundation, Stacy channels her expertise to help young people build their media skills and find their voices. With a diverse background in roles across independent and commercial productions, Stacy directs and produces a variety of impactful projects through her company, Nonstop Productions. She is also a spoken word artist, animal lover with two dogs and a cat, and a dedicated single mother to a wonderful teenage son. Stacy is currently pursuing a BAS in Positive Youth Development, holds an AAS in Film and Video Communication, and is an active Phi Theta Kappa member. Alongside her creative work, she serves as Vice President of Student Government at Highline College and volunteers in her community, showcasing her commitment to both her craft and uplifting others.
