APPLY FOR 2016 FUNDING ASSISTANCE

Preliminary Application Window Closes Friday, January 15


This is just a reminder that Washington Filmworks will close the preliminary application window for the standard production incentive program ONE WEEK FROM TODAY on Friday, January 15, 2016.

Projects that are fully funded are invited to submit an abridged version of the full application for the Washington Filmworks’ Board to review. The abridged application will include:

  1. The 7 page application document.
  2. The top sheet of the budget.
  3. And a letter from the applicant detailing why the project should be considered for funding assistance.

After receiving the paperwork, the Board will review each project and invite those projects that represent the best economic development opportunities for the state to submit a full application. Projects that plan to film at any time during 2016 are invited to apply.
