warren_profileWarren Etheredge has conducted more than 2,000 interviews with an impressive range of filmmakers, authors, and personalities including Amy Sedaris, Darren Aronofsky, Michael Pollan, Charlie Kaufman, Naomi Watts, Sir Salman Rushdie, Robert Duvall, Alexander Payne, Nora Ephron, Augusten Burroughs, Michael Lewis and Chuck Palahniuk. Etheredge is also host of The High Bar, an award-winning, local television series devoted to raising the bar, as “your weekly watering hole for light hearted conversation with people who care about culture that matters.”

Etheredge is a frequent partner with and longtime supporter of Washington Filmworks. One of the founding faculty of The Film School, he has also served as master of ceremonies for many events that foster and encourage the filmmaking community in the Pacific Northwest. Washington Filmworks is honored to work with Warren as he continues to shape the conversation of filmmaking here in the Evergreen State.

High_BarFor their many achievements, Etheredge and the team at The High Bar have been nominated in the category of Interview/Discussion Program Special as part of the 50th Annual Northwest Regional National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Emmy® Awards. The NATAS serves television and media professionals in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Washington. Each year, the Northwest Regional Emmy® Awards celebrate the talent and dedication of our region’s professionals. The complete list of nominations can be found here.

The winners will be announced at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Seattle. The black tie event will be held Saturday, June 15, with the awards ceremony commencing at 7pm. If you’d like to tune in, the Northwest Regional Emmys® will be streamed live from the NATAS website.
