Jennessa started her production career working in episodic television for Warner Brothers Television, the FX Channel and CBS Television while living in Los Angeles. Jennessa later moved to Seattle where she founded Pressing Pictures, LLC. Jennessa’s producing credits include Megan Griffith’s feature film SADIE starring Sophia Mitri Schloss, Melanie Lynskey, John Gallagher, Jr., Danielle Brooks, and Tony Hale which premiered in competition at SXSW in 2018. Jennessa also produced the coming-of-age film LANE 1974 with Katherine Moennig which premiered at SXSW in 2017 and received two grand jury prizes from acclaimed festivals and distribution through The Orchard. MY LAST YEAR WITH THE NUNS premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival with distribution through Fandor. SPIN, a short film, premiered at the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival. Jennessa is the Executive Producer of Stefanie Sparks’ gross-out girl comedy, IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, which was featured at Citizen Jane Film Festival. Jennessa produced the film THIN SKIN which was created by Ahamefule Oluo and Lindy West and directed by Charles Mudede. It will be distributed later this year.
