Case Drury is a Heartland Emmy-winning writer, director, and producer who believes deeply in the power of story to forge connections. She has lived and worked on three continents. From documenting a dying native language in rural Alaska for the National Science Foundation to directing a Dungeons and Dragons webseries, this USC trained filmmaker works to bolster connection, reflect community, and create joy. In 2019, she created and helmed the long-running Indie/Visible program for the City of Denver to elevate and amplify the voices of diverse artists, creators, and small business owners from economically challenged neighborhoods, working with hundreds of entrepreneurs and major cultural institutions like United Way. Her narrative work focuses on stories of becoming, specificity of place, and screwball comedy.
