Mike Vukas is a seasoned film and television professional with a diverse background in video production, graphic design, and photography. He is dedicated to the art of storytelling through visual media. He has spent the last 20+ years as a freelance chief lighting technician and cinematographer, with more than 60 films and TV series to his credit. He is an Emmy-nominated lighting designer and an award-winning cinematographer. Outside of his professional endeavors, Mike enjoys playing music, woodworking, and hiking. He also trained as a chocolatier under a notable French master, adding a unique culinary skill to his repertoire.
Recently, Mike has taken on a new role as the Northern Business Agent for I.A.T.S.E Local 488, where he advocates for the rights and well-being of fellow industry professionals. In an on going effort to grow he is currently studying Labor Relations through eCornell University. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for the arts, Mike continues to make impactful contributions to the world of film and television.
