Tacoma Filmmaker Conversations

Before their films hit the screen, the creative minds behind this year’s Tacoma Film Festival line-up are revealing how they pulled it off.

Join Tacoma Filmmaker Conversations on Monday, October 19th in the Grand Cinema Lounge for an intimate panel featuring Tacoma Film Festival directors and producers. Panelists working across a wide range of genres and budgets will pull back the curtain on how their projects came to life—sharing real-world insights on raising funds, casting, scouting locations, and navigating the festival circuit.

The panel starts at 7:00 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM) and will be followed by a Q&A and networking session where you can connect directly with the creators. Plus, every attendee receives a coupon for free popcorn to redeem at any TFF screening later in the week (October 22–25), giving you the perfect excuse to come back, catch their films, and continue the conversation!
